Welcome to the Academy, Planeswalkers!

During the school year, Red Castle hosts Magic Academy – a series of supervised Magic: the Gathering leagues.

Players with all levels of experience are welcome.

One of our counselors will guide players as they learn the rules of different Magic formats, build their own decks, and challenge other participants to matches.

Each league will meet roughly once a week, except for breaks and holidays. Campaigns are restricted to ten players maximum per councilor

Magic Academy Registration Includes:

  • Plenty of Play Booster and Jumpstart packs for players to begin their own decks, which they will take with them at the end of the league
  • Card sleeves
  • Card box
  • D20 spin-down and D6 counters
  • Instruction on different formats such as Two-headed Giant, Brawl, and Emperor
  • Safe check-in and check-out procedures
  • A complementary healthy snack provided each session, and a discounted menu for meals
  • 1 League Available: Ages 10-17
  • 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm
  • 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/29. 4/12, 4/19
  • 6 sessions
  • $149.99 per player
  • 1 League Available: Ages 10-17
  • 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm
  • 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/23
  • 7 sessions
  • $174.99 per player

The booking information below only displays the first day of Academy, but you are signing up for the full league. If you do not submit a payment and see the confirmation screen, you have not registered.

Upon registration, you will be sent a confirmation email with a more detailed form called the Scroll of Enrollment, which gives Red Castle additional necessary information about the player. Please fill out this document 48 hours prior to the beginning of the league.

What can I do if the game I want to sign up for is full? You can sign up for the Magic Academy wait list here.

Cancellation Policy

We cannot issue refunds for cancellations within 72 hours before the first day of Academy.
There is a $50 charge for changing your game day after booking your Academy.
Requests to cancel or change your booking must be made in writing to our email at dnd@redcastlegames.com.
