We are lucky to have a wonderful group of magical advisors for our youth programs at the Red Castle Court. Meet our mystical team of mages!

Sabrina first started playing D&D around 10 years ago, when a group of their friends wanted to try it out. Although they’ve been working with kids for their whole life, for the past three years they’ve been running games for D&D Red Castle’s youth programs. They enjoy working with all ages, as “D&D is for everyone”. They love designing fun campaigns that revolve around characters, then sitting back and watching how the themes of the story, puzzle and combat mechanics, NPCs and players interact. Outside of work, they love drawing video games and watching movies They’ll often often draw characters and puzzles for their games. Other than D&D, they have enjoyed playing Pathfinder and Cloud Empress, based off the Mothership system.

Clif began playing D&D when a college friend invited them to join a 3.5e campaign. They have years of professional experience as a prop maker and production designer for film, as well as working with youth in behavioral health programs specializing in creating safe environments for developing social skills through imaginative play. As a storyteller, their indigenous roots and rural upbringing inspire them to incorporate all of a player’s senses through miniatures and other physical elements. They enjoy lots of indie TTRPG games other than D&D such as Cairn, Monster of the Week, Daggerheart, Forbidden Lands, Coyote & Crow and Identico. Additionally, they are currently working on developing their own system catering to neurodivergent players.

Lauren was originally introduced to D&D as a kid by her dad , who used to play in his friends basements afterschool. Throughout high-school and college, she worked as a nanny and au pair while studying International Political Economy. However, over time she realized that her true passion was storytelling and TTRPGs. She joined Red Castle’s team as a GM for RCG Quests’ adult campaigns in September of 2024, and then transitioned into the full-time position of Youth Program Director in October of 2025. Her favorite part of running games is helping kids and adults explore their own creativity while building stories collaboratively. Additionally, she believes that TTRPGs can teach us about the motivations and choices of ourselves and others, while helping us reclaim a sense of agency. Other than D&D she also loves Wickedness, Evil Hat Productions games, Kids on Bikes and The Quiet Year.
