Nerd Camp is Coming to Red Castle

Get ready for a family-friendly NERD CAMP! Kids programming will run 5:30-7:30, and will include:

* A magic show by Mathias: The Charming Cardist!
* An introduction to all the fantastic superheroes from marginalized cultures, presented by Books with Pictures!
* Small group discussions about superheroes and bullying
* A concert by MEGATHRUSTER!!!!!

Kids must be accompanied by an adult – please don’t buy tickets for your kids if adult tickets are sold out!

We’ll kick over to the 21+ portion of the evening at 8:00, starting with Speed Friending, then on to tabletop gaming and small group discussions about all kinds of ways we as geeks can improve our lives and our community. Schedule to be posted soon!

Are you ready to try your first game of Dungeons & Dragons? Let us teach you the rules of the world’s greatest role-playing game by playing a short adventure!

This is a two-hour D&D event hosted in our playspace by one our professional Dungeons Masters. This is a mixed age event for players 8 and up, and families are encouraged to attend.

Players ages 8-13 must be accompanied by an adult.

A set of dice is required to play.

3rd LEVEL ADVENTURE: GNOME for the HOLIDAYS
You have survived uncountable horrors to finally find someone who can lead you to the Bridle of Boreas - the last item you need to topple the reign of the corrupt King. But it's location is not what you expected!

The gnomes of Twinkleberry Grove are bustling with holiday activities leading up to the Midwinter festival and the Bridle is hidden somewhere on one of their farms. However, as you investigate further, strange clues indicate that malicious forces are trying to keep the Bridle out of your hands.

WHAT TO BRING
This adventure is for 3rd level characters. Premade character options will be provided. You may also bring your own 3rd level character if you like. Only 5E Players Handbook lineages and official D&D licensed spells/material may be used in character creation. A set of dice is required to play.

No outside food or drink.
